A rare and spectacular antique piece, this belle époque necklace is encrusted with old-cut diamonds that dazzle as they catch the light.  The central largest old-cut diamond (estimated at 0.25-0.30cts) measuring approximately 4.80mm diameter in its setting (colour F/G, clarity VS1) is set on an articulated drop stemming from a bow at the top of the pendant, with three further articulated diamond drops at the bottom of the pendant.  The total diamond carat weight is estimated at approximately 1ct.
 
Crafted in 18-carat yellow and white gold, the pendant is stamped '750' for the gold purity of 18ct gold, and paired with a white gold chain, whilst the articulated drops on the outer sides are crafted in 9-carat white gold, stamped '9c' and backed in yellow gold.  There are two further hallmarks that we have not yet been able to identify (please see the photos).  This fabulous necklace is an ideal statement piece for your antique jewellery collection.
 
In very good antique condition, there are some small nibbles to the metal and some light fading to the hallmarks, as to be expected with a piece of this age.  This does not detract from its beauty and only adds to the historical value of this wonderful antique find.
