LUCILLE LONDON logo

A truly exceptional antique five-stone diamond ring, crafted in rich 22ct gold and hallmarked for London, 1923. Rings of this calibre and gold purity are increasingly rare, and this example is a standout for both its weight and its extraordinary diamond selection.

Set across the 4mm wide band are five antique diamonds totalling approximately 0.76–0.80ctw. The centrepiece is a rare obelisk diamond, measuring approximately 3.7 × 3.5mm, its angular geometry and steep facets giving a beautifully distinctive, almost architectural presence.

Flanking it on one side is a second, smaller, obelisk diamond, and on the opposite side sits a Peruzzi diamond, likely a later, carefully chosen replacement selected to echo the sharp geometry and brilliance of the obelisk cuts as closely as possible. The composition is completed by two old-cut diamonds of approximately 2.5mm, one at each end, softly framing the rarer central stones and adding balance and warmth.

The ring weighs a substantial 6.36g, and the high-carat gold has that unmistakable deep, orangey glow unique to antique 22ct gold - rich, buttery, and impossible to replicate in modern alloys. Crisp, clear hallmarks remain fully legible inside the band, a testament to both quality and careful wear over the last century.

Offered in excellent antique condition, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a highly collectable early 20th-century ring with unusual diamond cuts, exceptional gold purity, and timeless presence.

Size: US 6.5 / UK N (fits more like a 6.375/M.75 due to the comfort fit band)
