LUCILLE LONDON.png

A beautifully bold Georgian treasure, this antique 22ct gold ring bears crisp, clear Birmingham hallmarks dating the band to 1797 - a joy to find after more than two centuries.

The band has a wonderfully substantial feel, with that unmistakable rich, buttery tone only high-carat gold can give.

At the centre sits a natural 0.585ct pear-shaped old cut diamond featuring a beautiful open culet (approx H colour / SI1 clarity), set at an angle in a bespoke platinum cut-down collet. The diamond itself has been thoughtfully repurposed from an early Victorian brooch, and the platinum setting was designed to replicate the elegant cut-down collets so often seen in Georgian and Victorian jewellery - a perfect marriage of eras, with a distinctly antique silhouette.

Striking worn solo and equally dreamy stacked, this is the sort of ring that looks like it’s always been in the family.

The ring is in excellent antique condition, with the band showing only gentle, age-related surface wear, as to be expected, and very much part of its character.
