Antique Victorian High Carat Diamond Crescent Pendant With 21 Old-Cut Diamonds | Lucille London
top of page

This captivating Victorian crescent pendant features 21 dazzling old-cut diamonds (approx 1.2cts) graduating in size, set in silver open back cut down settings typical in jewellery of the 18th and 19th centuries. The body of the crescent and the bail are a beautiful buttery high-carat yellow gold.

Converted from an antique Victorian-era brooch, this striking diamond crescent dates to circa 1880.

The bright, well-matched diamonds have a magical sparkle and are all in excellent antique condition, with only one tiny chip to the table of one of the smaller diamonds and one tiny chip to the girdle of another as to be expected in a piece of this age (these are not visible to the naked eye and can only be seen under magnification).

The chunky pendant bail is handcrafted from 18-carat yellow gold to blend perfectly with the high-carat body of the crescent which tests between 14ct-15ct gold.

This magical antique diamond crescent is a statement conversion piece you will treasure in your collection.
