This distinctive 18ct gold necklace features a rare antique helping hand charm holder clasp, with each element carefully repurposed from Victorian-era pieces to create a one-of-a-kind, mixed-link design. The 17-inch chain artfully blends oval links (3mm wide) and box links (2.25mm wide), delivering layered texture and subtle contrast.

The French-marked charm holder bears an eagle head hallmark, with a possible maker’s mark reading "A.I", details that speak to its provenance and craftsmanship. Measuring 42mm, the hand and charm holder pair seamlessly with the 21.5mm dog clip to offer a secure and stylish way to carry charms, lockets, or pendants.

In very good antique condition, with light imperfections where a second box chain was once attached in its original longuard form. A small element of copper is visible on the screw mechanism that allows the hand clasp to swivel—likely the result of a historic repair. Minor dings can be seen under magnification on a few areas but are not noticeable when worn, adding to the rich character of this piece.

Weighing 13.48g, this piece is ideal for layering or wearing solo.
