Repurposed from a Belle Époque brooch, this elegant pair of drop earrings features a suite of antique old mine and old cut diamonds set in original platinum milgrain bezels. Each element has been thoughtfully preserved and reimagined to create a cohesive and beautifully balanced pair.
At the top of each earring is a 5mm old mine cut diamond, subtly oval in shape when viewed under magnification, approx. 0.50–0.60ct each (1.00–1.20ct total), followed by a smaller old mine cut diamond (approx. 0.07ct each), and finished with prominent elongated old mine cut diamonds, beautifully cushioned in shape, measuring approx. 5.25 x 4.5mm (approx. 0.65–0.75ct each, 1.30–1.50ct total). The full estimated carat weight for the pair is between 2.44 and 2.84ct.
Measuring 17mm in length, these earrings are fitted with platinum posts and large 18ct yellow gold double-click earring backs for added security (total weight 3.27g). The platinum elements retain their original Belle Époque milgrain detailing, adding subtle texture and soft contrast.
