These enchanting antique diamond and ruby drop earrings, converted from the same original Belle Époque jewel as our matching garland necklace, beautifully preserve the elegance and refinement of early 20th-century French or Continental European design.

Featuring an estimated 0.80cts of old cut diamonds and 34 calibre cut rubies, they date to circa 1900–1910, and exemplify the Garland Style with romantic bow motifs, delicate proportions, and timeless materials.

Expertly crafted with silver fronts and 12ct gold backs, these drop earrings are finished with elegant 18ct gold shepherd hooks for secure wear. Each earring features a diamond-set bow suspending a classic target motif composed of a central old cut diamond encircled by vibrant calibre-cut rubies, a desirable red colour with purplish undertones.

These earrings are a wearable weight, at 4.65 grams combined, offering effortless comfort while retaining maximum sparkle. The diamonds exhibit the charming characteristics of antique cutting styles, including slight natural inclusions and age-softened girdles, contributing to their authentic period charm.

These antique earrings are more than beautiful—they’re a wearable piece of jewellery history. Whether worn alone or paired with the matching garland necklace, they offer a sophisticated blend of Belle Époque romance and investment-grade quality, perfect for collectors, antique jewellery lovers, or elegant evening wear.
