This elegant antique diamond and ruby bow necklace is the third and final conversion from an original Belle Époque jewel, reimagined with exquisite balance and period-authentic materials. Dating to c.1900–1910, it captures the romantic refinement of the Garland Style, combining intricate gemstone work with a beautifully detailed chain.

At the centre is a diamond bow suspending a classic ruby target drop, featuring a bright, sparkling 5.15mm old cut diamond encircled by 21 calibre-cut rubies in a vivid red hue with purplish undertones.

The pendant hangs from a rare bicolour fetter-and-knot link chain, composed of alternating platinum and 18ct rose gold links. The chain itself dates to the early 20th century, perfectly aligning with the original period of the pendant elements. An additional 1.75-inch extension in yellow gold and platinum allows the necklace to be worn at either 17 inches or 15.25 inches, finished with a classic 18ct yellow gold bolt ring clasp stamped with a French eagle head hallmark.

Very good antique condition overall. The chain links show minimal wear, consistent with age. There are minor signs of past repair to one or two small areas of the pendant, and a few age-related nibbles to the stones, but these do not detract from its overall beauty or structural integrity.

A sophisticated balance of historical craftsmanship and modern wearability, this necklace pairs a beautifully preserved Belle Époque statement bow and target with an authentic early 20th-century bicolour chain. Whether worn alone or paired with the matching earrings and garland necklace, it offers a unique blend of elegance, rarity, and period-correct design—ideal for collectors and lovers of antique fine jewellery.
