A fabulous antique trombone chain featuring a removable extender section with two trombone links and a t-bar that also doubles as a pendant.
This one-of-a-kind design combines two coveted link styles into one chain: chunky semi-solid biker links and solid elongated trombone links that blend superbly together and make for an extremely unique statement piece.
Wear the chain at the longest length of 22.25 inches (with the extender attached at the longest point, as shown in the photos), or wear the extender at the mid-length point (21.65 inches total length), you can also clip the chain onto either of the trombone links of the extender to wear it at varying lengths shorter than 21.65 inches (see product photos for styling inspo). The chain on its own, without the extender attached, is a fabulous length: 19.20 inches.
Crafted in 9ct rose gold, the chunky trombone chain links are solid (not hollow), each one stamped "9.375" for 9ct gold, with the biker chain having a "9C" stamp on the end link closest to the dog clip.
The removable t-bar extender allows you to pair the chain with your other pendants and charms, wear the piece in different styles and at various lengths, and wear the t-bar extender with your other chains. To fasten and unfasten the chain and extender, use a straight side of the extender's trombone link to attach/remove the dog clip on the chain. The dog clips in this design have been meticulously selected to pair perfectly with the trombone chain links, and as such, the chains dog clip will naturally nestle in the curved section of the extender's trombone link when you are wearing the set together and will seamlessly clip on and off the straight edge of the trombone link when you want to remove it.
