A rare and exquisite antique guilloché enamel and diamond pocket watch crafted in 18ct gold by the esteemed BADOLLET of Geneva. Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and innovative designs, Badollet was a prominent Swiss watchmaker established in 1635, producing high-quality timepieces that were celebrated for their precision and artistry. The company's clientele included European royalty and aristocracy, solidifying its reputation as a luxury watchmaker during the 18th and 19th centuries.

This intricately detailed timepiece exemplifies Badollet's commitment to artistry and technical excellence. It features a round dial with Roman numeral indicators and an engraved gold face, exuding timeless sophistication.

The watch's double-sided design showcases two stunning guilloché enamel motifs:

  • Front: A vibrant green enamel face adorned with a floral cluster of rose-cut diamonds.
  • Back: A serene blue enamel surface inlaid with a bouquet of enamel flowers.

This dual design reflects the "night and day" concept, where the diamond-embellished side would shine during formal evening occasions, while the plain enamel side was suited for daytime wear. The watch is suspended from a detachable green enamel and diamond bow brooch along with a further dog clip, which is also detachable, offering versatility to style either the watch, brooch or dog clip independently.
