With her statement big bolt ring and angular swivel dog clip, this 14ct gold biker chain is a must-have for your antique jewellery collection.

She is an antique conversion piece, made using an Austro-Hungarian biker chain and its original dog clip clasp, and the addition of a coveted oversized antique bolt ring, all components dating to the late 19th century.

The large swivel dog clip has a crisp clear Austro-Hungarian stamp and is a striking and rare shape, slightly angular and very unusual.  Both the chain and dog clip date to c. 1872-1901.

The big bolt ring is stamped '585' and carries the maker's mark of Wilhelm Müller, a German jewellery wholesaler (founded in 1847), and was likely made in Berlin c. 1880-1900.

Her solid gold biker links are filed at an angle and exquisitely finished, designed to catch the light beautifully.

The gold colour is a typical antique 14ct gold; a warm gold tone, almost a soft peachy colour, that pairs well with other gold carats and colours.

This biker-style chain link is particularly unusual in antique jewellery, so the second we found this chain, we knew we had to have it!  You'll be mesmerised by her the second you lay eyes on her.
